Birds

This is a video of a first try to implement flocks of birds for Krautscape. It’s easy to see them from far away, so they will probably be used as an indicator to call attention to important places and objects in the game.

Krautscape has been awarded!

Good news for the Krautscape team! Krautscape is among the 7 winners of the “Call for Projects: Swiss Games” from the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia. That means we have the honour to exhibit the game at the Fantoche Animation Film Festival in Baden (CH) from the 6th to 11th of September. So, why don’t you join us for a beer or two? Baden is quite a beautiful city and we will be hanging around there during the whole festival.

The other winners are: Daina: The Herbarium, Feist, Jump’n’Roll, Macrocosm, Mokmok and Pop. Congratulations from us… we did it!

Well, I also want to share a few updates from our development department with you. We were working on the GUI for the last few days and Mario did some kick-ass redesigns of the racetrack and scene environment. That means the posted posters from our last post (what a sentence!) are somehow not up to date anymore! That’s one reason more to come and visit us in Baden and check out the latest version.
